Blumer-McDonald Residence

The Blumer-McDonald project is an addition to a home dating from the late 19th Century in a classic urban neighborhood. The addition creates a large family room on the ground floor, a generous bedroom suite on the second level, and a view room with a panorama of the Kansas City metropolitan area on the upper level. The addition is intended to respectfully complement, but not mimic, the character of the original home with the view room establishing the bold, contemporary sensibility of the new.
